Holtek HT82A824R High Performance USB Speaker MCU

The embedded UART and various hardware resources make the HT82A824R suitable for product areas such as iPhones, iPods, and iPad docking stations. Auto run applications can also be easily implemented using the internal SPI and USB bulk endpoints in the HT82A824R together with external SPI Flash Memory.

Following all the features of the HT82A822R, the HT82A824R, after conversion of the played music into the frequency domain, can display the played audio spectrum on an LCD. By also simultaneously changing the backlight color, users can be provided with a visually appealing audio output display.

The HT82A824R uses a Holtek 8-bit MCU core, has 8K × 16 of Program Memory, 864 × 8 of Data Memory and 512 × 8 of Read-only Memory. A HALT instruction is provided for power saving purposes. With an operating voltage of 4.0V~5.5V, a system frequency up to 16MHz and 21 I/O lines, the device forms an excellent controller for high level professional USB speaker products.
