Detailed Description
The CP2114EK USB to I²S audio evaluation kit allows a complete evaluation and customization of the CP2114 USB to I2S bridge, including all GPIO, UART and IIC functions.
A USB cable is included. CP2114EK is ideal for customers who already have a defined codec or DAC and want to evaluate the CP2114 capabilities.
The CP2114 Evaluation Kit includes an evaluation board with a CP2114 device pre-installed for user evaluation and software development. Numerous input/output (I/O) connections are provided to facilitate prototyping using the evaluation board. Refer to Figure 6 for the locations of the various I/O connectors.
CP2114 features:
- Enumerates to the host as a Standard USB Audio Device and HID Consumer Control supporting:
- USB Digital Audio Out (Audio Playback Device)
- USB Digital Audio In (Microphone/Recording Device)
- HID Consumer Control handling standard volume and mute functionality
- Pre-configured support for 3 commercial DACs
- Tested for USB plug & play and audio quality on all major operating systems
- UART interface using standard USB HID device class
- 12 Configurable GPIO Pins with Alternate Functions
