Programmer and in-circuit debugger mikroElektronika PICFlash2

PICFlash2 is a programmer and in-circuit debugger for the PIC12F, PIC16F and PIC18F microcontrollers.

Detailed Description

When connected to a prototype device, programmer becomes IN-SYSTEM programmer.

With ZIF socket, it becomes a standard programmer used for high volume production.

One of the possibilities for connecting PICFlash to a microcontroller is via an IDC10 connector. Look at the picture on the right side. All you have to do is to put one 2×5 connector between microcontroller and other parts of the board. Inserting PICFlash connector you will be able to program PIC In System.

The microcontroller is connected to the PICFlash programmer via 5 lines, two of which are +5V and GND. Unlike programmers whose operation is based on bootloads (and which need to give away part of their memory to a bootload program) PICFlash programs the microcontroller externally so that the entire memory is available for the programmer.

PICFlash programmer supports wide range of microcontrollers that counts over 190 PIC microcontrollers. Newly released PIC microcontrollers will be supported with new version of PICFlash software that is updated regularly.

The development tool is packed in the protective box along with documentation and software CD. This box is very ressistant to any kinds of damages and shocks. Package contains:

Package:

  • PICFlash with mikroICD programmer.
  • USB cable.
  • CD with software and drivers.
  • Printed Documentation that includes: PICFlash with mikroICD Manual, mikroICD Manual and Quick Guide for Installing USB Drivers.
  • The Box is very resistant to shock and transport damage.
