I’ve been reading a lot on how DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) tones work over the last couple of weeks. I’m sure you’ve noticed that when you press the keys on a standard telephone keypad, an audible ‘beep’ is generated.

i have tried to build the circuit by 8870 and 9170. but, both fails to activate in wireless mode.such as-
1)tel lines in the circuit attached to N1100 and pressing 0-9 from that phone, both works.
2)while pressing 0-9 from another phone(N1600) after calling,
both circuit do not response.
i change various values (10k-1M)btween pin2-3,...no effect is seen.
but, the case 1 always responding.
please, solve this problem. i have lost a lot of times, but no success.
