The circuit board used in the final application Item Description should use RF circuit design techniques. Signal J1 K-Type Connector lines should have 50 ohm impedance while the J2 SMA Connector package ground leads and exposed paddle should J3 - J5 DC Pin be connected directly to the ground plane similar C1, C2 1 pF Capacitor, 0201 Pkg. to that shown. A sufficient number of via holes C3, C4 10 nF Capacitor, 0402 Pkg. should be used to connect the top and bottom C5 47 pF Capacitor, 0402 Pkg. ground planes. The evaluation circuit board shown C6 4.7 µF Tantalum Capacitor, CASE A Pkg. is available from Hittite upon request. R1 0 Ω Resistor, 0201 Pkg. R3, R4 0 Ω Resistor, 0402 Pkg.
