Youhao Xi received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Xian Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, in 1997 and 2003, respectively, all in electrical engineering.

He is currently a System and Applications Engineering Manager at the BCS Product Line of Texas Instruments, Inc., where he leads the R&D of Innovated Power Mamangement ICs products. From 1999 to 2005, he was with EMS Technologies Canada, Ltd., Montreal, QC, Canada, where he was engaged in designing the state-of-the-art power converter modules for advanced space applications. From 1988 to 1995, he was a faculty member at Xian University of Architecture and Technologies, China. He published more than 20 technical papers and holds several patents and a few pending, all in power electronics. His research interests include soft switching converter topologies and their applications to automotive, and telecom and computer systems.
