Ceramic resonators manufactured by ECS Inc.
International are created from high stability piezoelectric ceramics that are typically used for applications that don’t require precise timing. Ceramic resonators are used in a broad range of applications that don’t require precision timing as they are a low-cost solution for non-critical timing. Ideal applications for ceramic resonators include consumer electronics, communications, personal computing and exercise equipment. ECS Inc.’s ZTB series of ceramic resonators are offered in a 7.0 mm x 3.5 mm x 5.0 mm package. They offer a frequency of 455 kHz, tolerance of ±2ppm at 25°C and stability of ±0.3% over the standard operating temperature of -20°C ~ 80°C. These electronic components are ideal for consumer electronics like TVs and cameras and clocking applications where frequency accuracy is not critical.
