If the shut-down signal (SD neg.) is driven low for more than tSD_LO the low power mode is active. If the shut- down signal is held high for more than tSD_HI the IC resumes from low power mode. The over-temperature protection turns off the output stage when the junction temperature exceeds the temperature threshold TOT,OFF. When the junction temperature falls below the temperature threshold TOT,ON the output stage turns on again. In case of over-temperature the IC stops switching and waits for the over-temperature condition to disappear.
