Abel Raynus

Abel Raynus was born on February 3, 1931 in Leningrad, Russia. In 1954, he graduated from the Electrotechnical Institute, Leningrad, USSR. In 1960, Raynus graduated with honours from the North-West Polytechnic Institute, Leningrad, USSR, with a degree in Radio Electronics. Abel Rainus' achievements include patents in obstacle detection systems. Recipient Honorable Radio-Engineer badge Ministry Communications Industry, Moscow, 1977.

Abel came to the United States in 1987. Now Abel Raynus is an electrical engineer at Armatron International’s Flowtron Outdoor Products Division. Once known as Automatic Radio, a manufacturer of car radios, Armatron International now manufactures lawn and garden products through its Flowtron division. Raynus designed the electronics and the testers used in production of the company’s electronically controlled mosquito-control products.
