Powerful microcontroller on board

LPC2148 ARM7 is a microcontroller with 512kb of embedded high speed flash memory. A 128-bit wide memory interface and a unique accelerator architecture enable 32-bit code execution at the maximum clock rate. For critical code size applications, the alternative 16-bit Thumb mode reduces code by more than 30 % with minimal performance penalty.

Easy programming

On-board LPC2148 is programmed with fast In-System Programmer, so it’s ready to work right out of the box. You don’t have to spend a dollar more on external programmers. You can also program and debug the board using external programmer over on-board JTAG connector.

  • MCP73832 Battery Charger circuit enables you to charge your Li-Polymer battery directly from USB port.
  • microSD Card slot allows you to store large ammounts of data externally on microSD card using fast SPI communication.
  • DC30 JTAG male connector should be used for programming and debugging the microcontroller using external programmer/debugger.
  • Every unsused microcontroller pin is available through connection pads. They can be used to connect your mikromedia board with additional shields or accessory boards.
  • On-Board power regulator ensures that each part of the board get the right voltages.
  • On-board ADXL345 Digital Accelerometer allows you to measure acceleration.
  • High quality reset button with surrounding reset circuitry ensures stable reset operation.
  • Power and charge indicator LEDs are useful indicators of current power supply state of our mikromedia board.
