At a glance
Test applications for oscilloscopes range from
debugging complex electronic circuits to measuring
the signal integrity of high-speed bus signals and
characterizing power electronics with dangerous
voltage levels. Measurement accuracy and operator
safety depend on the probes and accessories that
are used. Rohde & Schwarz passive probes are the perfect accessory for general measurement applications involving lowfrequency signals. The very fine, spring-loaded tip allows
precise and reliable contacting of signal lines.
Active broadband probes are ideal for applications where
low loading on the DUT is crucial or when the measured signal contains high-frequency signal components.
Rohde & Schwarz broadband probes feature a very low
load and a wide dynamic range. The integrated, highprecision DC voltmeter permits fast and easy testing (both
differential and single-ended) of DC voltage levels on signal lines, irrespective of the oscilloscope settings. The configurable, integrated micro button makes it easy to operate
the oscilloscope when measuring with multiple probes.

R&S®RTO oscilloscopes combine excellent signal
fidelity, up to 16-bit vertical resolution and high
acquisition rate in a compact device format in the
600 MHz to 6 GHz class. They offer a fully integrated
multi-domain test solution with frequency, proto­
col and logic analysis functions. The brilliant
touchscreen makes the oscilloscopes very
comfortable to use. R&S®RTO oscilloscopes are optimized to perform precise
measurements at a high input sensitivity and very low inherent noise. The unique high definition mode enables up
to 16-bit resolution. With an acquisition rate of up to one
million waveforms per second, the R&S®RTO oscilloscopes
detect sporadic signal faults lightning fast.
R&S®RTO oscilloscopes are engineered for multi-domain
challenges and facilitate debugging of systems with different signal types. The oscilloscopes enable simultaneous
time, frequency, logic and protocol analysis and display

The USB 2.0 compliance test fixture set contains a signal quality board and a load board for testing USB 2.0 (high speed),
USB 1.1 (full speed) and USB 1.0 (low speed). It is used in combination with the R&S®RTO digital oscilloscope, the R&S®RTO-K21
option and the R&S®ScopeSuite software.

At a glance The R&S®RTO-K21 USB2.0 compliance test software provides an automated solution for performing physical layer
tests on USB2.0/1.1/1.0 interfaces. It covers devices, hubs
and hosts. Integrated into the R&S®ScopeSuite software,
the solution allows experts and novices alike to complete
their tests quickly. Rohde & Schwarz offers the ­R&S®RT-ZF1
USB2.0 test fixture set for optimum contacting of the DUT.
When a Tabor WX2182B arbitrary waveform generator
is used, sensitivity tests for USB receivers are also fully
automated. The R&S®RTO-K21 software application checks the
signal conformity of USB devices in line with the
USB-IF compliance test procedures and ensures
the interoperability of products that have USB
