Aaron Schultz

Overarching Aaron Schultz's engineering career is diversification. System engineering roles in both design and applications have exposed Schultz to topics ranging across battery management, photovoltaics, dimmable LED drive circuits, low voltage and high current DC-DC conversion, high speed fiber optic communication, advanced DDR3 memory R&D, custom tool development, validation, and basic analog circuits. Over half the career has been spent in power conversion. His specialization is, well, providing value the specifics as a generalist.

He is presently an applications engineering manager in the LPS business unit. His schooling includes Carnegie Mellon University (’93) and MIT (’95).

By night he plays jazz piano.

Aaron Schultz Catherine Chang Philip Karantzalis
Our op amp family has expanded with industry-leading speed versus supply current. The LTC6258/LTC6259/LTC6260 family (single, dual, quad) provides 1.3 MHz gain-bandwidth product at a super low 20 μA supply current, with 400 μV maximum offset voltage and...

  2. Low Power Op Amp: Low Power Filter, Headphone Driver Revisited
Introduction A new family of op amps features industry leading speed versus supply current. The LTC6261/LTC6262/LTC6263 family (single, dual, quad) provides 30 MHz at a low 240 μA supply current, with 400 μV maximum offset voltage and rail-to-rail input and output. In...

  3. Op Amps Make Precision Clipper, Protect ADC
    Aaron Schultz Thomas Mosteller
A simple op amp clipping circuit can limit input-voltage excursions into an ADC, thus preventing input overload and possible damage to the converter. It can be a challenge to match the voltage range of an analog signal to the input range of an analog-to-digital converter...
