Rakon Introduces a High Stability TCXO for GPS Weak Signal Detection

Rakon IT2200A IT2200B

Rakon introduces a high stability 2.5 x 2.0 mm TCXO for GPS weak signal detection. With a frequency stability of ±0.5 ppm over a wide temperature range of -30 to 85°C, the IT2200A and IT2200B offer industry leading performance in the smallest footprints currently available. With a low power requirement- drawing just 1.5 mA from a 3.7 V supply, the IT2200A and IT2200B are ideal for use in portable devices.

IT2200A

Available with a Clipped Sinewave output, and in frequencies ranging between 10 and 40 Hz this SMD RoHS compliant TCXO uses an Analogue IC for the oscillator and temperature compensation circuitry.

The high stability enables extended coherent integration periods, to increase sensitivity for weak signal applications. High stability can greatly reduce acquisition times, allowing the GPS system to consume less power.

With its low power consumption, high stability and small size, the IT2200A and IT2200B are ideal for weak signal GPS applications including mobile phone emergency location, location based services and personal security.
