Holtek is now pleased to announce the release of its new Arm® Cortex®-M0+ based low energy Bluetooth transparent transmission controller, the BC32F7611, a device especially developed for Bluetooth Low Energy applications. Dedicated for transparent transmission, the device is suitable for applications such as health care products, home appliances, smart device information beacons, intelligent toys and data loggers to name but a few.
The device includes high performance RF and MODEM functions which with their fully integrated DC/DC converter and linear voltage regulator can provide a stable and wide voltage range single power supply. The device includes both a low power transmitter and receiver, with the receiver having a programmable gain of up to 75 dB and a sensitivity of up to –90 dBm. A range of low power operating modes is provided including both Sleep and Power-down modes. The device contains an ARM® Cortex®-M0+ core, 64K bytes of Flash Program Memory and 8K bytes of SRAM Data Memory. In addition to supporting various power saving management modes, basic I/Os and SPI, I2C, UART, USART interfaces, the device also includes a 12-bit A/D Converter. This high degree of functional integration makes the device suitable for a wide range of applications as well as reducing overall system costs.
The BC32F7611 is supplied in a 46-pin QFN (6.5 mm × 4.5 mm) package type, which is well suited for miniaturised BLE single chip applications and offers an excellent choice for low energy Bluetooth transparent transmission controllers.
