Densitron is proud to announce a revolution in Instrumentation Manufacture. The new 1U RipDraw® TFT module is designed to fit perfectly within any 1U chassis development, and offers a host of options, such as PCT Sensor, Cover Lenses, Mechanical Mounting and Interface Configurations. The MVA Glass offers uniform viewing angle from every direction, with no contrast inversion or weak angle, giving a very rich user experience.
The novel TFT carrier insures mechanical mounting requirements are interchangeable in the future regardless of what glass or touch screens are used. ICs can go end of life but if you add our RipDraw lite Industrial by design Interface Module you will continue to be comforted by Densitron's industrial SPI, USB (1.0, 2.0) Industrial Interface specifications. Even the PCAP touch interfaces through this industrial protocol.
"Industrial by Design" RipDraw captures the requirements of the Glass Vendor and IC vendor and presents our customer’s a module format you can count on over the life of your products! The Novel ABS TFT carrier insures the mechanical mounting requirements are interchangeable in the future regardless of what glass or touch screens are used.
Richard Applin, Densitron UK Sales Manager commented:
‘’For the first time low or mid volume European Manufacturers, can confidently design in a 1U TFT format, which mitigates obsolescence. The 9 variants available, allow the Design Engineer to target the best configuration for the application, and at a later stage, have the ability to evaluate the addition of Multi Touch or Cover Lens Glass, or even opt for the GPU module with USB / SPI interface. True 1U TFT oriented displays have always been problematic to source, and we believe we have developed a novel and versatile solution to this long standing dilemma.‘’
Development Kits are available in various formats, allowing quick validation and prototyping. Users are given free access to the RipDraw® Embedded GUI Design Tools Cloud Portal, enabling leverage of the 12,000 copyrighted but royalty free images in RipDraw® and our WYSIWYG stateless GUI Editor. Users can export and simulate projects using the Windows based Emulator.
