BGS 12AL7-6 - ultrasmall SPDT RF switch with low insertion loss and no external components required

Infineon BGS12AL7-6

The Infineon's BGS 12AL7-6 is a general-purpose, single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) RF-CMOS switch designed for power levels up to 20 dBm. Manufactured using a unique variant of the industry-standard RF-CMOS technology, this switch does not require external DC blocking capacitors, and the control logic is fully integrated on a single die. With an insertion loss of only 0.35 dB at 1.0 GHz, the BGS 12AL7-6 provides the same level of performance as GaAs switches, while requiring less printed circuit board area and delivering a better cost position. All interfaces are protected against ESD up to at least 1.0 kV HBM (human body model). The BGS 12AL7-6 comes in the new, ultrasmall TSLP-7-6 package measuring only 1.4 × 1.26 × 0.39 mm3.
