Holtek is delighted to announce the release of its new passive infrared body detection IC, the BA76220, which is specifically designed for security, smart home and energy-saving applications, such as intelligent doorbells, sensing switches, PIR lights and other consumer products.
The device supports various common functions, including sensitivity adjustment, lighting time setting and day/night mode switching. These functions can be adjusted by external circuits and can also be configured by an MCU or programmer using single-wire communication, greatly simplifying peripheral circuit design and improving overall system efficiency.
As a highly integrated controller device, the BA76220 has an integrated LDO with excellent stability to power the PIR sensor, while providing low power consumption characteristics to effectively extend the battery life of the device, suitable for power-sensitive applications.
The device is supplied in a 16-pin NSOP package type, which allows it to meet the application requirements of a huge range of infrared body detection related products.
